Our story

Safety From Space was founded with the support of UniSA ICC to engineer new safety solutions for people in remote and hazardous situations.

Since 2018, we have worked with research and technology organisations to develop resilient communication systems that enhance situational awareness. Our solutions are designed to function during catastrophic events such as bush fires, floods and military conflicts.

Vision

Connectivity for emergency responders and those in distress.

Innovation

Low-latency and affordable satellite-based communications.

The work is focused on cost-effective solutions for emergency responders and persons in distress, both in terrestrial and extraterrestrial environments. We aim to improve utilisation of existing space assets and future constellations.
